WHATSAPP NEWS OF THE WEEK
  1. It is very important to keep the platform and users safe, so WhatsApp is developing a feature that lets report status updates to the moderation team, for a future update of WhatsApp Desktop beta.
  2. Some lucky users on WhatsApp beta for Android may be able to get the 6-digit code to log into their account from another device right within their main phone thanks to a new verification option.
  3. WhatsApp is announcing the ability to undo “delete for me” on WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Desktop, and it is finally available for everyone. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to easily retrieve a message deleted by accident for a few seconds. In our opinion, this is the best news of the week:

  1. We shared a concept that would let people create custom lists for their status updates in order to choose a different default audience every time they want to publish a status update.
  2. Another concept made by WABetaInfo would let users choose a new privacy setting for the last seen, profile photo, and about, in order to manage a whitelist.
  3. WABetaInfo reached 200k followers on Twitter and 5000 participants in the community announcement group this week: thank you! We will keep sharing news with dedication and accuracy: it is still our primary commitment.

Stay tuned for more WhatsApp news and updates coming next week, and happy holidays!
