In the article about the WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2137.3 update, we spotted a feature that easily allows converting images to stickers. It hasn’t been that long and Mukul Sharma discovered that the dev team has enabled this feature on the web/desktop platform today:
As you can see in this screenshot, when you want to send a sticker, there is a new “Create Sticker” button that quickly allows creating a sticker from an image on your computer. You can also convert the image to a sticker using the sticker button while in the drawing editor.
The feature is available to WhatsApp users today but if you don’t see the shortcut to convert images to stickers, be sure to update to the latest WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2147.4.
