I’ve the same version but I don’t see this feature, why? | It’s true that WhatsApp is rolling out multi-device for more beta testers today, but some users might still not be eligible. Just wait for new updates. |
Previous news? | WhatsApp is releasing a new sticker pack, I Love Emojis! |
After enabling HD Photos for specific beta testers, WhatsApp is now rolling out multi-device for more beta users today!
If you want to discover if you have finally received the feature, the procedure is always the same one: check if there is a new row called “multi-device” in “Linked Devices”, within your WhatsApp Settings on your phone and join the beta program!
If you still don’t see the feature, don’t worry. WhatsApp is rolling out the feature for more beta testers every day, so it will be your turn very soon. If you are not a beta tester and you want to join the beta program to try multi-device, my suggestion is to join the beta program from the official link. If it says “full”, try to join several times, so you should be able to join because someone else in the world might leave the beta program at that exact moment. Note that it’s not sure that you can immediately use multi-device once joining the beta program of WhatsApp for Android: there are more chances but your WhatsApp account must be eligible from their server.
WhatsApp will also roll out multi-device for a lot of new iOS beta testers very soon.
