WhatsApp is working on a disappearing mode to make messaging more private: when this setting is enabled, all new chats will begin with disappearing messages on.
This feature is under development and Mark Zuckerberg and Will Cathcart confirmed to WABetaInfo that this feature is really coming on WhatsApp!
Today WhatsApp is still working on this feature, but the team is bringing some improvements: when the disappearing mode is enabled, there will be a particular message in the new chat. This message notifies that disappearing messages have been automatically enabled in the new chat!
Thanks to this new message, the user will always know the reason why a new chat is set as disappearing mode. We will notify you when this feature is ready for beta testers.
