A new WhatsApp beta for Windows Phone update is available since some hours: the version is 2.17.170.
But what features WhatsApp added in this update?
There is only a new feature, and it’s hidden.
SELECT MULTIPLE CHATS
WhatsApp is continuing to improve the Windows Phone UI, that it is very obsolete compared to the Android and iOS one. The possibility to select multiple chats will be their next move.
Tapping on the menu button, you will find a new option called “select chats” that will allow you to quickly archive or delete multiple chats.
Note that this feature is disabled by default (learn here what is a hidden feature) and it will be enabled for all WhatsApp users in next stable updates when WhatsApp developers will be sure that the feature is finally bug free and it is ready to be used.
