After releasing the new WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2146.5 update, WhatsApp is finally rolling out this feature!
If you see “Privacy Settings” in WhatsApp Web/Desktop Settings, it means you can finally manage last seen, profile photo, about. You can also toggle read receipts and choose who can add you in groups.
This feature is available to select beta testers. If those privacy settings are not available for your WhatsApp account, it means they will be rolled out for your account at a later date.
