NEW INTERFACE
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.17.1.77 update, we posted a screenshot regarding a new interface for the app with new colors, new buttons, and the ability to filter chats. With these improvements, WhatsApp aims to make the interface more modern while providing users with a tool to better manage their conversations. These features are still in development but, thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.19.1.72 update, which is available on the TestFlight app, we discovered that WhatsApp keeps working on the new interface along with an improved filter feature!

In the previous article where we announced the new design, we highlighted that some elements of the interface still appeared in blue. With the ongoing development, WhatsApp is now adopting the green color for those elements, making the interface finally more consistent. As shown in the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is removing the filter button next to the search bar because it will no longer be needed due to the new “Unread” filter. In addition, WhatsApp is replacing the “Business” filter with a new feature to easily filter group chats. A similar development was discovered with the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.19.7 update.
WhatsApp is taking significant steps to address the long-anticipated need for a revamped interface for their iOS app, actively responding to the persistent requests from their users who asked for a more modern experience. We can also confirm that WhatsApp has plans to further improve and refine this interface with the upcoming updates. Regarding the new “Groups” filter, it will help us find and manage their group chats more easily, allowing users to better organize their chat list and find group chats faster. In fact, this new feature is designed to simplify the process of locating and managing group conversations, providing users with a powerful tool to better structure their chat list and access group chats with ease. By making it easier for users to find and manage group chats, we think that this filter is set to significantly improve the overall user experience on WhatsApp.
The new interface with the ability to filter group chats is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We will keep you updated once we have further details to share.
