SHARE STATUS UPDATES
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.7.0.75 update, we announced that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to share their status updates to Facebook stories without leaving WhatsApp. As we explained in the previous article, it is already possible to share status updates to Facebook stories in the current version of the app, but it is needed to take an extra step after publishing the status update. With this new feature, the process will be automatic when the toggle is enabled within the app settings. The feature is still in development on the iOS app and, thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.9.13 update available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that this feature is also under development for the Android app:

As you can see in this screenshot, the new feature enhances the way status updates are shared on Facebook Stories. When this feature will be released, users still have complete control over their status updates as they can choose which ones to share and which ones to keep private. In case users wish to share specific status updates with their Facebook Story audience without leaving WhatsApp, they can enable this option from within the status privacy settings. For sure, they can also disable the feature at any point if they no longer wish to share their status updates on Facebook Stories.
By enabling this feature, users can definitely save time and effort by having their status update automatically shared on Facebook Stories without manually sharing it. It will also allow them to share their updates with a broader audience since Facebook Stories may have a large user base. Note that this feature is optional so users will be able to choose not to enable the option, and it is disabled by default as shown in the screenshot.
The ability to share your status updates to Facebook Stories without leaving WhatsApp is under development on WhatsApp beta for Android and it will be available in a future update of the app. As always, we will keep you posted once we have further details to share with you.
