- The first news of the week is about the desktop app. WhatsApp has pushed a new fix for WhatsApp Desktop, restoring the ability to generate link previews. This was broken in a previous update due to some technical issues, but the fix has finally addressed the issue. Note that it is still not possible to generate link previews on WhatsApp Web.
