WhatsApp has rolled out new minor features on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS:
- WhatsApp is finally restoring the camera media bar on WhatsApp beta for iOS, and it’s coming on the App Store version very soon. This feature has been previously removed in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.4.0.72 update, but finally WhatsApp is restoring it in the recent beta.
- WhatsApp has introduced a search message shortcut in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.6.3 update. The search shortcut may not appear in certain situations, for example when you open contact or group info from your chats list.
- WhatsApp is finally working on sending message reactions on the recent updates of WhatsApp Desktop beta, a feature available in a future update. We consider this as the best news of the week:
- After releasing a new interface for voice calls, WhatsApp is now working on creating call links for a future update, so anyone can quickly join voice calls if you want.
- Lastly, WhatsApp is also working on a new shortcut to quickly manage your privacy settings for status updates for a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android. This is also planned to come on WhatsApp beta for iOS as well.
