WhatsApp is rolling out a business tools tab on iOS beta

After releasing a business tools tab on the business version of WhatsApp beta for Android, WhatsApp is now rolling out the same tab to certain businesses that install the latest update of WhatsApp Business beta for iOS from TestFlight.

Last week, we posted news about a business tools tab, a new feature released to certain businesses on WhatsApp beta for Android. Similar news has been spotted more than three years ago and WhatsApp finally decided to release it to some beta testers. Until last week, this feature was limited to businesses that installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android but it is finally reaching some business accounts on iOS beta:

As you can see in this screenshot, the new tab called “Tools” replaces the old camera tab if the feature is enabled for your account. Thanks to the business tools tab, it will be easier to reach all messaging tools available to businesses without opening WhatsApp Settings. In addition, WhatsApp is also adding a camera shortcut for those businesses that can see the tab. The same shortcut is also available to those users on the customer app that can create a community and it is now rolling out for business accounts. Note that the Tools tab won’t be released to users on WhatsApp Messenger since it’s a business feature.

The business tools tab has been released to certain businesses after installing the latest update of WhatsApp Business beta from TestFlight. In case you don’t have the business tools tab and you’re on the most recent version of WhatsApp Business, please wait for the next few updates where the feature will be released to more beta testers.
