If you already tried to restart WhatsApp and the button does not show up even if you’re using the most updated build, please wait for another update. |

SPEED UP VOICE NOTES
WhatsApp keeps working on improving the new native beta app for Windows, especially now that they replaced the old WhatsApp Desktop app with the UWP build on the Microsoft Store. In the past few days, WhatsApp rolled out an important improvement for voice notes that’s already available on WhatsApp for Android and iOS: the ability to speed up voice notes:
As you can see in this screenshot, the best way to check if the feature is already available for your WhatsApp account is to play a voice note: if the playback speed button shows up, you can finally start using this feature. Generally, in the case you do not have this feature, you need to wait for a future update that brings the feature to more beta testers on Windows so let’s wait for at least the 2.2241.0.0 build to come on the Microsoft Store to everyone.
The ability to speed up voice notes is officially available after installing the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Windows from the Microsoft Store but it may also be available to some lucky beta testers on the previous update.
