Two days ago, we published a changelog for the WhatsApp beta UWP 2.2201.2.0 update, that brings improvements for the user interface.
WhatsApp is now releasing a new update for WhatsApp Desktop beta (Windows and macOS) with the same build number (2.2201.2), and it also brings similar news!
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp has updated the color for chat bubbles when you use the dark theme: this is not so surprising, since they have updated the color for chat bubbles on WhatsApp beta for Android and WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS in the past as well. In addition, you can also understand from the screenshot that they have changed some other colors in the app (in this case, the chat bar color), and they use the same background color for alerts. It looks like the new main color is a dark blue color, similar to the one used on WhatsApp for Android.
