After updating to the new WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2142.0 through the beta channel (and it’s available for MacOS only, at the moment), we found that WhatsApp is releasing a new option called “Copy Sticker Image”.
This new option replaces “Copy image” from the previous release, which was possible to view when you moved the mouse over the sticker. That option was not immediate to find, so WhatsApp is making it easier to use now. “Copy Sticker Image” allows converting the sticker to an image that’s possible to paste into other different chats. Unfortunately, this option does not allow pasting the image on your desktop, at the moment, but you can paste it on some other applications like Discord.
