REDESIGNED TOOLTIP
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.8 update, we announced a redesigned tooltip available to some beta testers. With the redesigned tooltip, which shows up when tapping the record message button within our conversations, WhatsApp wants to further highlight that’s now possible to switch between audio and video mode to send video messages. After installing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.17.1.76 update from the TestFlight app, some beta testers might now experiment with the same revamped tooltip!
As you can see in this video, WhatsApp introduced a redesigned tooltip when switching between audio and video mode. The revamped tooltip also includes an animation, which adds a touch of dynamism to the user experience, making the transition feel more intuitive. Just try to tap the microphone button to check if the new tooltip is available for your WhatsApp account.
As we explained in the previous article regarding the update of WhatsApp beta for Android, this is one of the few animations available on WhatsApp, and probably the only one available within the chat screen.
