REDESIGNED SETTINGS
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.11.18 update, we posted information about a new feature in development for the Android app: a redesigned settings page. With this feature, users will have the opportunity to explore and enhance their user experience when navigating through the app settings. The feature is still in development on WhatsApp beta for Android but thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.11.0.75 update available on the TestFlight app, we discovered that a similar redesigned settings page is also planned to be released in a future update of the iOS app!

As you can see in this screenshot, the settings page will get a complete redesign. You can already notice that the settings tab will be replaced with a tab featuring our profile photo. There will also be three new shortcuts that will allow us to quickly navigate to our privacy settings, contact list, and our profile. In addition, there will be a shortcut to view and share our personal QR Code, which will gain even more importance in the future.
With the revamped settings page, we believe WhatsApp aims to provide further evidence of their commitment to completely redesigning the app, starting with the smaller details. In the past, we have already covered news regarding minor improvements to the interface, including a translucent effect for the tab bar and a new style for different sections of the app, and we think we can expect further enhancements to the user interface in the coming months.
The redesigned settings page is under development and it will be released in a future update of the app. We will publish an additional article when we have further details about this feature to share with you.
