CALL NOTIFICATIONS
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.9.16 update, we announced some improvements for call notifications. Specifically, WhatsApp was introducing a reply with a message feature within call notifications that declines the incoming call but allows the user to quickly respond with a message. WhatsApp keeps working on improving call notifications by introducing further enhancements. In particular, after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.16.14 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, a certain group of beta testers may experiment with a new interface for the call notifications!

As you can see in the attached screenshot, a new interface for call notifications may be available for your WhatsApp account in case you get an incoming call. The changes are evident as the buttons that allow accepting or declining an incoming call now feature icons, which make it easier for the user to understand the action performed by each button.
To be honest, we consider this feature as a minor change. However, it is part of their project to modernize the application through interface redesign. By improving various several minor aspects of the application, WhatsApp is able to create a completely revamped interface. It’s the sum of these incremental changes that contributes to the overall transformation of the interface and it confirms their dedication to continuously refining the user interface and providing a better experience for their users.
The new interface for call notifications is available to some beta testers that install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android update from the Google Play Store, and it is rolling out to even more people over the coming days.
