Finally, WhatsApp has fixed the issue about missing notification sounds and, in the meantime, the dev team keeps working on new features for the next updates.
Two weeks ago, I’ve announced on my Twitter profile that WhatsApp was planning to support skin tone combinations for couple emojis.
The feature was under development: in fact, the posted screenshot was incomplete because WhatsApp didn’t fully develop the feature.
Today, new emojis have been finally added (even if they aren’t visible because this feature is still under development) and we’ve grouped all them in a screenshot:
As you can see in this large screenshot, you will be able to create different skin combinations using two different emojis. A new beta update to support this feature is planned in the future and there isn’t a known release date, unfortunately.
