Yesterday WhatsApp has released the 2.21.21.9 update. As you can see on this website, you didn’t find any changelog because the update has nothing new. Unfortunately, the 2.21.21.9 update had a critical issue for specific users: they couldn’t open groups or group info because WhatsApp crashed. Yesterday I’ve published a tweet about this issue, inviting people to avoid the update.
Fortunately, WhatsApp has now released the 2.21.21.10 beta update, fixing the crash. If you have installed the 2.21.21.9 update because you didn’t read my tweet, and you experience this issue, you can update your WhatsApp version to the latest beta to use groups again.
WhatsApp has also fixed another issue about profile pictures, experienced by specific beta users:
