Yesterday WhatsApp has released an update for iOS beta, bringing some improvements for calls. WhatsApp is rolling out the same improvements on WhatsApp beta for Android today!
When you call a contact, you can verify there is a new user interface, very similar to the one implemented on FaceTime, and a Ring button:
You can also join a call even if it’s already started and someone invited you. Just open the Calls tab when there is an indicator and tap to join:
You can also join a group call inside the group where you received the call from.
These improvements are available for beta testers today.
