WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.20.200.11.

WhatsApp is working to allow to customize better your chats, using different wallpapers. It will be possible to set the opacity and to add WhatsApp Doodles.
In this beta WhatsApp is working to allow to set a wallpaper for a specific chat:
When setting a new wallpaper in a chat, WhatsApp will ask if you want to set this wallpaper in the current chat or globally (excluding chats having a custom wallpaper).
As mentioned in the table, the feature is under development and it will be available in future.
