WhatsApp released 3 months ago the 2.17.10 version, bringing for all iOS users the video streaming feature, that allowed to immediately play videos without downloading them first. Unfortunately, for some unknown reasons, this feature didn't properly work, and it has been immediately disabled from the server.
Recently we wrote a post that explained how to share any files in WhatsApp for iOS, downloading an application called Document 6. It was necessary to import the file in Document 6 that you wanted to share in WhatsApp, but since today things are going to change.
Using WhatsApp you can share a lot of documents, but there are some limitations. Actually it's possible to share these file types only: csv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls and xlsx.. but following this guide you will be able to share any file or photos/videos without be compressed.

We are very close to the WWDC 2017 that will show iOS 11 to the public. iOS 10 brought many new features in WhatsApp and developers will continue to add new features compatible with iOS 10+: it will be the turn of Rich Notifications.
