WhatsApp for iOS 2.18.51 changelog is available
Today, WhatsApp has released a new update on the App Store, bringing the version number to 2.18.51. The official App Store changelog mentions new features related to the picture-in-picture mode, but the update also includes bug fixes, performance improvements, and additional minor features.

- WhatsApp has improved the design of the registration section. When a European user registers an account, they now confirm that they are at least 16 years old with this update.
- When cleaning a chat, only the Delete Message option will be shown if no starred messages are present in the conversation.
- Many improvements have been made to the voice recording feature.
- Small improvements have been introduced for the Analog Clock Sticker.
- Minor improvements to chat backup functionality.
- Small improvements to the invitation system for adding friends to WhatsApp.
- Improvements for voice and video calls.
- You can now remove other administrators in groups where you are an admin. However, it is not possible to remove the group creator.
- You can now configure Privacy Settings for groups, choosing who can edit group information such as subject, description, and icon.
- Small improvements to group icon management.
- Improvements to the Siri extension.

- The possibility to watch YouTube videos directly in WhatsApp is a highly appreciated feature, and WhatsApp is currently working to improve the Picture-in-Picture functionality to support many more services. The first supported platforms are Instagram and Facebook. The update will allow users to watch videos from these services directly inside WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has been working on expanding support for additional services since version 2.18.40.
