WHATSAPP NEWS OF THE WEEK
- Mark Zuckerberg announced the first end-to-end shopping experience thanks to a partnership with JioMart in India. By using this feature, people can add items to a cart and securely make payments without leaving the WhatsApp chat.
- WhatsApp has released the 22.18.75 update on the App Store and it brings the ability to delete messages for everyone for over 2 days to all users.
- WhatsApp is releasing admin delete and status updates right within the chat list to more users after installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.17 update.
- WhatsApp is developing a new feature for a future update to let businesses manage their chats with customers better: the ability to assign certain chats to specific linked devices. This is surely the best news of the week for businesses:
- WhatsApp is working on a new section on the Android beta app that lets users submit bug reports. This is under development and it will be released in the future.
- WhatsApp is working on announcing when the phone number is shared with a business! This has been discovered within the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.19 update and it will be released to users at a later date.
