After releasing the first version of the year, the 2.21.10.23 update (here you can read its changes), WhatsApp is now releasing another beta build: the 2.21.11.3 update.
In this update, WhatsApp is experimenting the visibility of the sticker button in the chat bar.
Normally, when you start typing something in the chat bar, WhatsApp automatically hides the sticker button. Today, some users might verify that the sticker button is always visible.
Well, that’s not a really great change but it had to be mentioned in this changelog. First feedback report that, sometimes, users might wrongly tap the sticker button instead of the send icon, when sending messages.
Being an experiment, WhatsApp might revoke this change. At the same time, WhatsApp is also expanding this small test for previous builds. We await future developments.
In the previous beta update (that has been also submitted to the App Store as 2.21.10 version), certain users were experiencing some issues with status updates. In particular, they were unable to send images, videos and GIFs to their status updates.
NEWS: Some iOS users are experiencing issues to send images and videos to their status updates. Text status is fine.
It doesn't seem a server side bug but probably it's the latest WhatsApp for iOS 2.21.10 update that might present some issues. This isn't affecting everyone. https://t.co/uqQAtpcjXu

This bug afflicted only a part of the users but this update should definitely fix it and it should be live on the App Store very soon.
