NEW INTERFACE
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.17.1.77 update, we shared news regarding a new interface for the app, which features new colors and buttons. After a few weeks, we also revealed new icons with the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.19.1.74 update in development, aimed to make the interface more modern. Finally, we discovered that WhatsApp is now rolling out the redesigned interface with new colors and icons to a limited number of beta testers after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.21.1.70 update from the TestFlight app!
As you can see in this screenshot, a new improved interface that includes revamped buttons for the navigation bar. We already announced a first version of these redesigned buttons in the article about the WhatsApp for iOS 23.18.78 update, where we released that WhatsApp could also explore different styles in the future. In addition, the green is the new tint color of the app, and there are new icons in the app settings and the chat info screen. Similar changes are also available to a limited number of users who installed the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.21.12 update.
In our opinion, these updates represent a significant step forward for WhatsApp’s user interface on iOS. The introduction of new colors and buttons gives the app a fresh and modern look, which can definitely enhance the overall user experience. The revamped icons also contribute to a cleaner and more clearer appearance, making it easier for users to experiment with a modern experience. Additionally, we think that the use of green as the new tint color for the app is an effective design choice, as it aligns with their green app logo and reinforces brand recognition.
The new interface for the app with new colors and icons is available to some beta testers who install the latest version of WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app, and it’s rolling out to more people over the coming weeks.
