WhatsApp to make it easier to add messages to notes

In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.12 update, we announced a feature that lets users attach notes to contacts. This feature will let businesses manage their contacts easily. Specifically, the feature will allow them to keep track of relevant information regarding their customers.

This feature is still under development. But now, WhatsApp is refining the experience by developing a feature to add messages to notes. That's what we discovered with the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.17 update from the Google Play Store.

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is now exploring a feature that will allow users to quickly add specific messages to notes. The option will be available within the message options. Here, users will be able to attach the selected message to notes. Instead of manually adding a note right within the chat info screen, users will also be able to add specific messages to their notes. This will make it easier for users to organize the information shared in the conversation. As mentioned in our previous article regarding this feature, this is an exclusive business tool. As a result, it won't be available to standard users.

This feature will allow businesses to reference important details shared within conversations without opening the chat info screen. As a result, businesses will be able to save important details without manually forward them in a separate chat. It is important to note that the recipient won't be notified when a message is added to notes.

The feature that lets users add messages to notes is under development, and it will be available in a future update of the app. We will publish another article once we have new details to share.
