It is been a long time since we saw a new content sticker, a particular type of sticker generated from the app with dynamic content, that’s possible to place on your photos when using the drawing editor. It seems that WhatsApp is not planning to add new content stickers, but they are going to introduce a small redesign. In the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.7 update, we have found some references for a redesigned content sticker: a revamped location sticker!
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is working on a redesigned location sticker under the section “Content Stickers”, available in the drawing editor. Nothing changes when you will use the redesigned location sticker: WhatsApp uses Android APIs to generate your location used to create the content sticker. Once the content sticker is ready with your location, you can place it on your photos before sending them as it is already possible to do.
The redesigned location sticker is under development and it will be available at a later date, after the release of a new update.
