Recently, WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart has announced that their payments license has been approved from the Brazilian Central Bank:

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is now working on a new feature to elaborate a report of your payments information:
This is a very sensible report, so it will be available for the download for 1 hour, and the CPF is needed to access it.
As you can see in this screenshot, the report will include several information from WhatsApp LLC (previously called WhatsApp Inc.), Facebook Pagamentos do Brasil Ltda., and Facebook Inc.
WhatsApp also recommends to share the report with people and apps you really trust, because it will contain sensible information about your use of payments on WhatsApp.
This feature will be available in future for WhatsApp for iOS and Android: stay tuned to discover more!
