After announcing the possibility to move your chats from iOS to Android and a guide that explains how to do it, WhatsApp is finally working on the ability to migrate your chat history from Android to iOS!
This is very good news because a lot of people complained that this feature was only available to transfer chats from iOS to Android.
When the feature will be available, the user can finally switch to iOS migrating the chat history:
The procedure is still unknown but a cable is probably needed and we can confirm that the Move to iOS app will be very important to complete the process. More details will be announced with the next beta updates and when the feature will be released, but it probably won’t be restricted to certain Samsung mobile devices only, but all Android phones having a certain Android version are supported.
This feature is under development and it will be available in a future update. Unfortunately, there isn’t a known release date, so be sure to follow WABetaInfo on Twitter to discover when it’s available and all other changes implemented on WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, Web/Desktop and more!
