Have you a problem with WhatsApp? Isn’t something working? Do you want to report a bug? You can actually send an email to [email protected], but it must be said that it’s not really convenient, and users receive automatic response a lot of times.
For this case WhatsApp is currently developing a feature that allows to communicate with the technical support within the app!
The first time you can contact the support within WhatsApp Settings and a new section will be available:
In this section the user will be able to add the report filling that text field, and he can choose to include device information if he is reporting issues. Device information like system details and logs can help WhatsApp to investigate, giving the best answer for you.
Note that text messages, media and status updates are never included in logs.
When WhatsApp has an answer for the user, he will receive the message in a WhatsApp Support chat, allowing to communicate with the technician. When the conversation is over, the chat will be automatically marked as closed.
As usual the user can open a new ticket in WhatsApp Settings.
This feature is under development and, as mentioned in our main table, it will be available in a future build for everyone.
