WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.20.132.
What’s new in these updates? Discover all details below!
- The new Group Call Participants Limit is not available yet.
- This feature is under development: it means that WhatsApp is working in order to make it bug-free and there isn’t any release date available.
- If you don’t see the update on the Play Store, please be patient until Google will roll out for you (probably according to WhatsApp preferences).
In the 2.20.128 they have added some strings that suggest a new limit of participants in a group call.
In this update they are still working on it, bringing some improvements and we can show you some captures!
If some contacts have not installed the latest WhatsApp update, they won’t be able to be added in a group call having more than 4 participants:
Group Calls are confirmed for 5 participants. However the limit will be surely higher, and we will be ready to announce it when WhatsApp is rolling out the feature.
The feature is under development and it will be available within some weeks.
