WhatsApp has recently submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.19.139.
We have already published an article about this update, that brings new info about the Night Mode (under development and not available yet), but in this article we’re going to talk about something else.
Let’s find out together what’s that ..
- The new Emojis layout (for 155 emojis) is officially available in this version.
- This layout will be available in the next Google Play Stable release and in the next web update as well.
Some months ago, WhatsApp worked to improve the layout of 357 emojis in the 2.18.384 beta update, and 21 emojis in the 2.19.21 version.
In the 2.19.139 update, WhatsApp has improved the design for 155 emojis. We know which emojis were redesigned in this update, and we’re going to show you the differences.
These changes are already available in this update.
The layout is changed for 155 emojis: WhatsApp has fully redesigned some emojis, but for others they just applied some small changes.
