WhatsApp submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program: the version is 2.17.258.
But what features WhatsApp added in this update?

GROUP’S DESCRIPTION
The “About” feature is very used by all WhatsApp users.
We can understand that since WhatsApp has added “Status” in WhatsApp (disabling “About”), all users have expressed a lot of complaints in order to get “About” back again and WhatsApp fortunately listened them.
Maybe one of the feature very required was adding a sort of the “About” feature also for groups, and this is going to happen.
In fact WhatsApp is working to a “Description”, a similar “About” feature, but for groups.
A description is a tagline of the group and only administrators can modify it.
Note that the Description feature is disabled by default and it will be enabled for all WhatsApp users in next updates when WhatsApp developers will be sure that the feature is finally bug free and it’s ready to be used.
This feature will be added in iOS and Windows Phone later and probably it will be enabled at the same time for all platforms in future.
