VOICE MESSAGES PLAYBACK SPEED

Yesterday we have announced that WhatsApp was officially working on to change the playback speed for voice messages on WhatsApp for Android.
Today, WhatsApp is working to introduce the same functionality on WhatsApp for iOS. The feature is under development, so it’s not visible to the public, but we can show a preview here too:

3 different playback speeds will be available, when the feature is enabled for the public. Note that there isn’t a known release date. Stay tuned here to discover when it’s available for beta testers.

WHATSAPP WEB BETA

Previously announced for Android (under development), WhatsApp is working now on the WhatsApp Web Beta program for iOS users too.

Using WhatsApp Web beta, you will be able to use WhatsApp Web without having to keep your phone connected to the Internet. This is a part of the multi device functionalities that will be available later for other mobile devices.
If you choose to join the beta program, you can link up to four desktop devices (including Portal) at once.
Being a beta program, some features might not be immediately supported, like the deletion of messages. Missing features will be added during the beta program.
Note that other people need to update their WhatsApp version in order to chat with you. Calls are also supported if the other person is using a recent version of WhatsApp.
The beta program will be compatible with WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp Business apps.
