APP LANGUAGE – DRAFT FILTER

In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.10 update, we announced that WhatsApp was releasing an option to allow users to change the app language right within WhatsApp Settings. With this feature, users can use the app in a different language, making it more convenient for people who want to use the app other than their default language. After installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2320.1.0 update from the Microsoft Store, it seems some beta testers are now able to change the app language for the native desktop app:

As you can see in the screenshot, there is a new option called “Language” right within the app settings that allows the user to change the language of the app, in case the feature is enabled for their WhatsApp account. Thanks to this feature, users can use a different language than the system language. Prior to this update, users had to modify their system settings in order to use an app with a different language. With this feature, it is finally possible to manage this setting directly within the desktop app.

In addition, we announced enhanced support for message drafts in the previous update of the app. After installing the newest update of WhatsApp, some users may now be able to filter their chats by showing only the ones that contain a message draft, making it easier for users to locate and resume unfinished conversations.

The app language feature, along with the message draft filter, is available for some beta testers that install the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows update released on the Microsoft Store. If you don’t see this update on the Microsoft Store, please note that it will be rolled out to more users over the coming days.
