After releasing the WhatsApp beta for iOS 126.96.36.199 update, some users were experiencing an issue that prevented WhatsApp to properly work. In particular, the chat title looks weird when opening specific chats or group chats:
In addition, some users were also unable to open some chats because WhatsApp crashed. After releasing the new WhatsApp beta for iOS 188.8.131.52, WhatsApp has finally fixed those issues and you can open those chats again. Note that, after updating to this version, certain users may also see settings to manage reaction notifications, already available on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android update. If you see those new settings, it does not mean that you can already react to messages but it may be a sign that message reactions will be released soon to iOS beta testers, so keep your WhatsApp version up to date and visit our website frequently to discover if message reactions are available!
