ADD TO NOTES
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.12 update, we announced a new feature in development to attach notes to contacts. This feature was designed to offer better contact management for businesses, allowing them to keep track of relevant information regarding their customers. Although this feature is still under development, it seems that WhatsApp is committed to further refining this feature by developing a feature to add messages to notes, as discovered in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.9.17 update from the Google Play Store.

As you can see from the attached screenshot, WhatsApp is now exploring a feature to allow users to quickly add specific messages to notes, set for release in a future update of the app. The option will be available within the message options, allowing users to easily attach the selected message to notes with just a few taps. Instead of manually adding a note right within the chat info screen, users will also be able to add specific messages to their notes, facilitating a more efficient organization of important information shared in the conversation. As mentioned in our previous article regarding this feature, this appears to be an exclusive business tool. As a result, it won't initially be available to standard users.
In our opinion, the shortcut to add specific messages to notes adds a layer of convenience to the user experience, as it will allow businesses to easily capture and reference pertinent details shared within conversations without opening the chat info screen. By simply selecting the desired message and opting to attach it to a note, businesses will be able to save important details without the need to manually input information. It is important to highlight that the recipient won't be notified when a message is added to notes, ensuring privacy and discretion in information management.
A feature to add messages to notes is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. We have plans to publish another article once we have additional information about this feature to share.
