A few days ago, WhatsApp released the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.4.3 update. The update offers to beta testers the ability to share up to 100 media within their chats, making it easier to share memories and moments with their friends and family. Unfortunately, a lot of users were also experiencing an issue when sending emojis after installing the update:
As you can see in this screenshot, the emoji keyboard is completely transparent in the 2.23.4.3 and 2.23.4.4 beta builds, making it difficult to pick an emoji when a certain background appears. In addition, the bug is also present in other sections of the app where the emoji keyboard is available.
We also reported this issue by posting a tweet on Twitter and fortunately, the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.4.5 update has been released on the Play Store: this is a bug-fix update that addresses the mentioned issue, so you can finally send emojis without experiencing the bug.
The fix is rolling out after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.4.5 update so be sure to update to this build available on the Play Store in order to use a bug-free version of WhatsApp.
