REDESIGNED SETTINGS
After rolling out a tweaked interface with the bottom navigation bar to some users that installed the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.10.6 update and new group settings along with the “add participants” option with the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.11.11 build, WhatsApp keeps working on improving the interface of the application. In particular, after installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.11.15 update from the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is working on an enhanced settings page along with a new shortcut, planned to be released in a future update of the app:
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp plans to introduce a new shortcut to open the app settings quickly, in a future update of the app. After selecting the new shortcut with your profile photo, the user will be prompted with a redesigned settings page. At the moment, the redesigned settings page includes a large profile photo along with a shortcut to view your QR code, but we can confirm that this section of the app will go through further redesign during its development.
In our opinion, their commitment to improving the interface of the app demonstrates their dedication to improving the user experience while using WhatsApp. By consistently making similar enhancements, it seems they want to ensure maximum satisfaction for all users. These efforts show that WhatsApp is determined to improve the interface for the benefit of its users.
The redesigned settings page along with the new shortcut is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app. As always, we will keep you up to date when there is news regarding this feature in the future.
