WhatsApp has recently submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.19.345.
What’s new in this update? This is a minor update but let’s discover all details below!

  • The new icon is available in the 2.19.345 update.
  • No support for the possibility to access to WhatsApp from multiple devices, in this beta.

WhatsApp has released the 2.19.345 beta update. Unfortunately this is a very minor update, that brings bug fixes and only 1 visible change. WhatsApp has updated the icon that represents a sent/received image, in the chat list:

We talked some weeks ago that WhatsApp was going to allow the access to the same WhatsApp account from multiple devices (under development), and in the WhatsApp beta for iOS update there is a new feature called Registration Notifications, very useful when you request a new code from a second device.
In this beta there is a hidden string “The recipient’s device list changed. Tap Verify to confirm the new security code”. This string helps us to understand that the encryption key of shared messages is connected to the devices list of members in the chat.
Unfortunately there is no other detail. When there is something visible, we will surely inform you!
