WhatsApp submitted a new update through the Google Play Beta Program: the version is 2.17.297.
But what features WhatsApp added in this update?

FILTERS
This feature has been recently added on WhatsApp for iOS many weeks ago to allow to modify photos, and today it has been finally added in the 2.17.297 beta update.
To select a filter, you have to swipe up to show all filters added in WhatsApp.
These filters are actually available: B&W, Chrome, Cool, Film and Pop.
Note that this feature is already enabled by default.
