One of the features available to businesses is the ability to create catalogs. A catalog contains products and services that businesses can offer to customers. When customers choose a product from the catalog, they can contact the business to ask for more information, or they can even share the product with other contacts.
In the last weeks, WhatsApp has introduced new improvements for catalogs, bringing the ability to group similar products and services in a collection:
A collection contains products and services of the same category, so customers can easily find them by browsing the proper collection since they are organized better. When you create a collection, you need to enter a good name that reflects which products and services are included in the new collection and, after the creation, the collection needs to be reviewed by the WhatsApp moderation team. When the moderation team approves your collection, other people (other businesses and customers) can see the collection in the catalog by opening Business Info.
The feature is already available for people that use the latest updates of WhatsApp Business for Android and iOS. Be sure to use an updated build of WhatsApp in order to create collections for your customers.
