This feature will allow users to customize their preferences by enabling or disabling animations separately for each type of content.
3. WhatsApp is developing a new Chat with Us feature for the web client, allowing users to directly contact the support team from the Help section. Users will first interact with AI-generated or automated messages, but they can request escalation to a human agent if needed. This feature aims to enhance support by reducing response times and simplifying the process of initiating a chat with them, making assistance faster and more efficient.

4. We developed a concept to address one of the most frustrating issues for WhatsApp users: losing chat history due to phone changes, accidental deletions, or corrupted backups. Our solution allows users to request a copy of their chat history directly from their contacts, ensuring an enhanced process to restore chats secured with end-to-end encryption. While this feature is currently just a concept, it highlights a potential advancement in helping users recover important conversations, and we hope it will inspire future updates to WhatsApp.
5. We developed a concept to help WhatsApp channel creators track engagement more efficiently by introducing real-time notifications for reactions from their contacts. This feature would notify channel admins whenever a contact reacts to an update, providing details like the contact's name, the reaction emoji, and the specific update. While this concept is not yet available, we believe it could significantly enhance engagement tracking and inspire creators to tailor their content based on immediate audience feedback.
6. WhatsApp previously offered basic chat statistics but removed the feature, leaving users without an efficient way to analyze their conversations. Inspired by an innovative project on advanced chat analytics, we envisioned a feature within WhatsApp that provides in-depth insights, including message breakdowns, engagement patterns, and messaging habits, processed locally to protect user privacy. If implemented, this feature could eliminate the need for third-party tools and offer users secure and detailed analytics directly within the app.
