SHARE CONTACT CARD

After adding an entry point to create polls right within the chat share sheet a few days ago, WhatsApp is now releasing a new update to some users on the Microsoft Store. Thanks to this update, those users can finally share contact cards right within the same chat share sheet where you can already find the option to create polls and share files!

As you can see in this screenshot, the entry point “Contacts” will show up if the feature is already enabled for your WhatsApp account. When you use this feature, you will be able to share a contact card so the recipient can easily add it to their address book. It is true that this is very minor feature but it lets us understand that WhatsApp really cares updating this version by introducing all missing features: just think that this is our third article about WhatsApp beta for Windows posted this week.

The ability to share contact cards has been released to some beta users after installing the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2247.2.0 update available on the Microsoft Store and it will be rolled out to more beta testers over the coming days.
