WhatsApp is releasing a calls tab for the call history within the app sidebar
After releasing the ability to create polls within individual and group chats, WhatsApp is now rolling out a calls tab within the app sidebar to some beta testers on WhatsApp beta for Windows!

CALLS TAB
Last month, WhatsApp released the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2240.1.0 update by bringing a new app sidebar. Thanks to the app sidebar, it is easier to reach certain sections of the app by opening a tab such as chat list, status updates, and settings. After releasing the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2246.4.0 update on the Microsoft Store, WhatsApp is now rolling out an additional tab to open your call history:
As you can see in this screenshot, the new calls tab immediately shows up when you open WhatsApp but it may be needed to restart the app if you don't see it at first. Thanks to the calls tab you can see the list of your call history within the desktop app and information about the call by opening the call card. Since this app is a beta version, the call history may not immediately be in sync with the one on your mobile device: in fact, calls placed from the native desktop app may not show up on your phone. Another update may be released in the future and it should address this issue.
