REQUEST ACCOUNT INFO
The latest news of WhatsApp Desktop beta was the ability to configure two-step verification, a new feature under development for a future update.
WhatsApp keeps working on new features, and this time they are working on a feature to request your account info:
Thanks to this feature, you can request some details about your account, such as your activity info, privacy settings, information about your devices, and it has been introduced because of the new GDPR regulations. Probably you already know that it's possible to request your account info by visiting WhatsApp Account Settings right within WhatsApp for Android and iOS, but WhatsApp is planning to introduce on the web/desktop client all other missing features.
This feature is under development, and the release date is unknown. There will be another post on this website once WhatsApp will release the feature to beta testers.
