QUICK ACTION BAR
After announcing several enhancements for businesses regarding the ability to create flows, the possibility to buy from a business within a WhatsApp chat through the expanded payment options with Razorpay and PayU in India, and the introduction of Meta Verified, WhatsApp continues its commitment to enhancing the user experience by introducing new features. In particular, thanks to the latest WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.23.22.10 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is releasing a quick action bar feature to some beta testers!
As you can see in the attached screenshot, a new icon may now appear above the microphone button. This icon enables the app to make a new quick action bar visible above the chat bar, making it easier for users to quickly perform different actions. Specifically, some beta testers who install the latest beta versions of the app can promptly create orders, access their quick replies, and easily send products from their catalog.
While these options were already accessible via the chat attachment menu, WhatsApp is enhancing their accessibility by implementing a quick action bar feature for a more user-friendly experience. This update aims to improve and simplify the process of interacting with customers, ensuring that these key features are always visible, saving the business time and effort when interacting with the app. In our opinion, the quick action bar also marks a positive step in enhancing the business's customer interaction using these key features.
