WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.1.0.75: what's new?
WhatsApp has just submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 23.1.0.75. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.23.1.75 and the TestFlight build is 23.1.0 (437625963).
What's new in this update? WhatsApp is working on a camera mode for quickly recording videos, for a future update of the app!

CAMERA MODE
In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.24.21 update, we published some information about a new feature: a camera mode. Thanks to this feature, it's possible to switch to a different mode in order to record quickly.
This feature has already been released on a previous version of WhatsApp beta for Android and, thanks to the recent WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.1.0.75 update available on the TestFlight app, we have finally some details about the development on iOS:
As shown in this screenshot, WhatsApp plans to bring the ability to switch between a camera and video mode. At the moment, you need to tap and hold to record a video and we know it may be complicated when you have to record a long video, but you will finally be able to switch to video mode with just a tap in the future, making it more convenient to capture videos. In our opinion, this is good news for all WhatsApp users as this feature will help them record videos in a simple and easier way.
The camera mode is under development on WhatsApp beta for iOS and it will be released in a future update. As always, a new article will be available on this website when we have some details to share with you.
