WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.7.0.76: what’s new?
WhatsApp has submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 22.7.0.76. The version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.7.76.

IOS 15 SUPPORT
After 6 months from the first release of iOS 15, WhatsApp is finally supporting iOS 15 now. In reality, WhatsApp indirectly supports some iOS 15 features, like the ability to show profile photos in notifications for certain users and the support for focus mode, but the official support was not available. The company is now releasing the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.7.0.76 update, which brings the official support for the latest iOS update, bringing some changes about the interface:
As you can see in this screenshot, the toolbar is totally dark now if no other UI elements are close to the toolbar, and the same applies to the navigation bar in WhatsApp Settings. In other words, the theme is darker now. Note that the changes are only visible if you're using iOS 15. In addition, more beta testers may finally receive the feature that shows up profile photos in notifications, already rolled out to certain people as above mentioned.
This is only one of the first changes to support iOS 15, and the update also includes more compatibility with iOS 15 and bug fixes, but more is coming after the release of a future update.
